PROJECT DETAILS

LOST received £5,000 funding for the purchase of new I.T equipment, including laptop computers and video equipment.

L.O.S.T provides an education and awareness service to the community of Fife. The charity seeks to reduce self harm in the area through an education programme on the dangers of solvent abuse, which is aimed at school children, youth organisations and parents. More than 2,500 youngsters under the age of 18 have lost their lives in similar circumstances across the U.K. New IT equipment has enabled L.O.S.T to present more efficiently and professionally by PowerPoint rather than verbal presentations for the project ‘Not To Be Sniffed At!’

L.O.S.T volunteers have since delivered the project to a number of schools, engaging a target audience of 5,200 young people, care workers and staff within a 3 month period.
