Grant holders

Communications Toolkit

The team at People’s Postcode Lottery have collaborated with Media Trust to develop a toolkit with some handy hints and tips that we hope you’ll find useful. The guide has been compiled to help you raise the visibility of your work and highlight the impact of the grant. We hope that we’ve answered all potential questions within the document, but should you have any further queries please trustcomms@postcodelottery.co.uk

Press

All grant-holders are encouraged to put out a press release to local (or national) media in order to acknowledge the support of players and publicise your project.

Prior to doing so, please contact the Communications team at People’s Postcode Lottery for assistance and further information: trustcomms@postcodelottery.co.uk

Monitoring & review

We do not request monitoring paperwork from our grant holders during the funding period. We may visit your organisation to see the work that you are doing and advance notice will be given. Monitoring visits are often an opportunity for grant holders to feedback to us in person.

We will send a funding review form in advance of the notified end date. This form will ask:

  • If there were any changes to the original application?
  • What difference the funding made for your organisation and/or community?
  • How many people benefitted?
  • How you distributed news of the funding?

This form needs to be submitted in advance of any future funding applications.
